The Book of Juda History

When they were physically composed and bound, books often patched together out of pieces of other older, often unwanted book. So a binder would tear apart a book, not destructively, but in order to create materials to put together the binding of a new. Adam will talk about this in a bit more detail later. But you look at how books have often been made out of other books, and how page from one ends up being used as a raw material for another. Does that create clashes between the sacred and the profane? Paper has this wonderful capacity to get everywhere, and as a result, creates these fascinating juxtapositions.
