The Importance of Reasoning With the World

If an authority could step in and take away your life, or your liberty, then they can control how you think believe and act. You are no longer a person who is created equal because you are now subject to the people who can control you. And that violates your fundamental inalienable rights according to classical liberalism. So as such, in particular, you have to be able to reason with the world as well as you can.
