The Interminable Quality of Persecution

Trump has been described as comparing his self-described persecution to Nazi Germany and communist regimes. The way that this is being depicted over here is absurd, right? That Trump even invoking these things is somehow kind of disgusting and inappropriate. This does tie into some of what Trump was doing when he was playing with QAnon - those apocalyptic or quasi-messianic fantasies about a saviour. But I think it actually might get more interesting.
