The Lack of Imagination in Infrastructure

There is a sense of nackiness about lots of infrastructure at the moment, says Lord Tebbit. A lot of public buildings are very 'nacket' and need to be replaced with more lightweight materials that can withstand wear and tear. The Chancellor's plan for 5% pension funds by default invested into startups is a bad idea because all of those track badly - but it could work if we tweaked our funding policy.
