Could India Make More Money by Sticking to the Equalization Levy?
The united nations tax committee has been working on putting together a new set of rules to tax digital services and implement it multilaterally. If somehow this goes through, then we won't have to worry about minimum thresholds and falling tax revenues. This could make things a whole lot easier for india. And if that doesn't work out, maybe we could take a lesson from switzerland and go down a slightly more controversial route.
