Plath and huges, they seemed to have shared poets that they liked in common. They were out to shock british poetry out of submission. And yet, th there does seem to have been this thing it reminds me of what ezra pond said after he met eliot: i'm astonished that you came to all this independently of me. I think a rit lahin there.
