Introduction
In Walter Bergerman's book, Out of Babylon, you start to get the bigger picture of what the Old Testament could and does mean. There are these fundamental underlying narratives that to a certain extent are shared with other ancient stories and modern stories. And I guess the wonderment to me is that in the passage of going from Judaism to Christianity and for Christians, this was perceived as the chosen people expanding to include the Gentiles.
