Is the Theory of Inflation Flexible?

People were ready to declare inflation as having been proven on the basis of this. And then what we discovered was, ah, in fact, that what they had observed was not primordial gravitation waves, but was a polarization signal due to pollution within our own galaxy. The public exposure has at least gotten some fraction of the community to realize there really are these problems of ultra flexibility in the theory and non predictability to the theory. I don't know how long that will maintain itselfbu but i think it's aleast a shift in the right direction. But once you see them, othe towors the initial then yoars the initial pro warf yet absulutely take over
