The Impossibility of Predicating Words of God
Is it really the methodological approach of these theologians that he rejects? Or is it also the content? As we've already mentioned, the very rigorous stance he takes on divine unity. And that actually does sound a lot like the Mothazalites position. I suppose on other fronts, like his natural philosophy, he would follow Aristotle rather than adopting Calam-Ademism and so on.
