The Society of St. John, the Evangelist
John's description of holy week and holy week events differs somewhat from the descriptions that are found in Matthew, Mark and Luke. But John's whole message is that God is love and that God so loved the world that He sent His Son into the world to experience a special life of intimacy with God. And Jesus calls forth a community of people who are meant to live together in love, which is the church, His body. It's about God's love and it's about Jesus as testifying to that love, demonstrating that love, teaching us that love.
