You had a very mean editor when you sent her your first novel. And she was saying to you, tell me why i hated your novel, like almost repeating it to you. It was torture. Ah, and i won't say that every young writer goes through something like that,. But i think young writers very often have moments where they feel as if they theyre being tortured.
