The Importance of Competition in Foundations
I know a lot of this conversation has been focused around just Olin, but that there were other foundations as well. I'm wondering if there was like more competition between donors, whether you think that would have led to better or to worse outcomes. Um, I don't think they thought of themselves as competing necessarily, right? So in that world, there was a certain amount of credibility from the guy who first, you know, figured out to invest in Charles Murray before he wrote about it.
