Apple Script and Shortcuts: A Comparison

A peak out on the Mac and dice by Peak Out both support Apple script and shortcuts. I think that my mental model is much more like Apple script where you're kind of you're sending commands in, but you can see basically a version of the app through the Apple script interface. And for peak out, I have an entirely separate copy of the peak out code, like the calculation engine, which sits inside the shortcut extension. It's just running its own little copy there and it saves it to the same space on disk basically where the main app also saves stuff.
