The Meaning Shift
We grow up in a culture that teaches us that women are the sexual objects of men's desire. The imagery that we see around us is air brushed images of some time and culture specific ideal of the female form. We're so accustomed to scanning for what is not acceptable to us, rather than really for all the beauty and loveliness that is our bodies. It matters to us as women to know that we're desirable, but we want to expand our notion of desirability.
