Shania also at times describes Marianne as a sadistic opponent and temptress secretary. In another passage Shania wrote, when MUT wasn't looking she had the confidence to parade her cockiness and feellessness with Snarly looks and hisses. This was extremely painful for me and left me feeling weak and defeated. Maybe if I went through this level of trauma I would also need to find a villain in the story to direct my anger somewhere. It might be relevant context here and then our listeners can make their minds up about this.
