The Unsettling Story of My Aunt's Psychotic Breakdown

My mother's side of the family had basically disowned her after she decided to go to medical school. The only one out of the hateful mob that really made an impression was my mom's older sister. She once lectured me for 20 minutes about how no man would ever love me since I had inherited mom's desire to work when I got older.
