Danny Cevallos: Maimonides says you can't ascribe properties to God. We interpret from actions, but the way we do it is to project our own human consciousness or human experience onto that. The Torah is written in the language of human beings and he's trying to make it so that a simpleton would have an understanding of something they would need a much deeper intellect to understand on a truer level. But if you actually were to say, 'God has this attribute and that attribute,' then you are positing a multiplicity at least five fold.
