The Closeted Homosexuality of Henry James

There is strong evidence that Henry James was a closeted homosexual. The restrictions of the 19th and early 20th centuries when homosexuality was viewed as an abomination kept him from acting upon any sexual feelings he felt if he felt them. It's hard not to think of James as being somewhat erred in his prose sometimes and ungenerous we hear the echo of boarhace in our mind saying there's no life there.
