Why You Shouldn't Be Consuming Raw Maka in Peru
In Peru, Maka is dried and then it's either made into porridge or mixed with sort of a sugar cane rum type thing. The process was invented for the western market because in Peru it's being cooked. So if you've been consuming raw Maka, honestly throw it in the trash and move on - but don't eat it raw. It needs to be gelatinized.
