Awakening the Connection to One's Ancestors

I want to circle back to what you were just touching into with regard to ancestors and understanding lineage. And I think that's a very personal experience but maybe broadening out a little bit from that. For those of us who are, let's say a complete hodgepodge of different inheritances and backgrounds, or for Those of us who have ancestors who have done things we would be ashamed of, what is activating the connection to ones ancestors look like in those contexts? So many people are completely disconnected from their roots and understanding where they come from because it has made up as I was describing so much of who I am. It's literally embodied within me embedded within me.
