A really important component of visual design is not actually just always getting the details right it's getting the concept right what do you mean yeah I can totally explain this so when we look at work and we say that's derivative what tends to happen is there's a sort of style of design that kind of gets through the process of everybody copying each other. A strong concept in graphic design is there is a core idea at the center of it and that's what the visuals are responding to, he says.
