God Is Not a Man - Part Two
i have found myself avoiding using masculine pronouns for god. It actually can kind of elevate the way i speak about god and remind me of the difference between creator and creature that is really helpful. I don't love, like, i get why people hear god's self. And they're like, old there's an agenda attached to that. But i do the first time i heard a preacher who was really insistent, like the entire sermon on saying god and not using masculine or feminine pronouns, it did something actually really helpful to me. The language of father and son is a relationship language, not a gender language.
