I Was a Big Fish in a Small Pond

In 19 86, a new policy had been instituted. And they wanted to know whether i might help them explore the possibility of setting up some kind of financial institution for women in that country. I think part of me knew, one, it was the first time african women had actually helped me and invited me to solve a problem with them. A, to this was an area i actually knew something about. And three, i knew i had the enthusiasmof having had these two massive failures...I got extraordinarily ill. Im very isolated. The more you learn about human nature, the more we understand that being a big fish in a small pond is still power.
