The Importance of Eating and Drinking
I find it interesting when Luther starts this because we can get wound up in the eating and drinking portion of it and we completely forget about Christ or other insights he has here how he writes. It is so important of what he's addressing then and what we have to address nowadays. The emphasis is not on that syllable as a professor Rod Rosenblatt always used to say it's on which syllable you put it or syllable right. We definitely are called to eat and to drink obviously which is to receive but that eating and drinking certainly do not accomplish it.
