The Importance of Reputation
Some things have changed a great deal. What has changed is how you manage your reputation, because your reputation can be much bigger today than perhaps it was in the past. You've got to be realistic about the fact that you're never going to be able to control everything. And so there's that, that your reputation's just inherently more volatile, that it might have been 10, 20, 30 years ago, where it was much more containable. So effectively, it's become so much more difficult because of the internet because if you get something wrong,. everybody knows quickly in a way that 15, 20 years ago people didn't.
