Tim Mack reported from Ukraine for National Public Radio during the Russian invasion. After leaving NPR in May, he's gone back to Ukraine on his own. He now writes a sub-stack newsletter, The Counter-offensive, which he calls the first sub-stack dedicated exclusively to war correspondents.
