Why Do We Need Weekly Refocus?
Moses repeats this command in the book of Deuteronomy told you Deuteronomy literally means second law. Moses expands the purpose of the Sabbath from remembering creation to also remembering redemption they were to take one day a week and remind themselves that they were special because God had loved them not because of their abilities but because God had chosen them he had compassion on them.
