Ben and Rowell are both hardware engineers at Jane Street. Ben did his PhD in FPGA design before he moved to the States and started working at Zilinx which is a FPGA company. Rowell has been working at Jane Street for three years as a hardware engineer but also trying to keep up to date with what's happening in the space especially around hardware acceleration.
