Using a Computer Instead of Writing by Hand to Differentiate the Learning

Extra time is a really important way to differentiate the learning so things like allowing students to use a computer rather than writing by hand. This is particularly useful for those students with diagnosed learning difficulties such as dyslexia or students who are maybe really struggle with their handwriting and it takes them a long time whereas they can do it much more quickly when they're allowed to type. Another one that's really really good for those learners is a list of key terms and definitions. A list of question words that you give out a test or an exam a list of classroom items that you use often with translations or pictures.
