How Do You Find a Licensed Interventionist?

I always encourage people to go and meet with the potential provider. I think of it as an in mental staircase, where with each step, your confidence, your your self efficacy builds. The more you have confidence that you know, i got through this barrier last time pretty well. Or my friend sandy was able to do it. She's a lot like me, and so if she can do it, i think i can do it too. Those are things that we can build in. As interventionests and practitioners, we can help people see the importance of building in those mastery experiences and that social support while we're figuring out interpreting our symptoms.
