I'm not sure your world is ending just yet, but there are certainly steps we can take to mitigate the risks here. There is actually some comfort in knowing that the ISF has been advising members to do this sort of assessment for years. I imagine that short of just turning off the internet will also remind organizations to be very mindful of what's happening with their supply-chain management as well. And then finally, the report recommends that they consider a strategic move to zero trust architecture models to mitigate APT and post-compromised lateral movement.
