Are You Building a River Bed for Your Writing?

If you send a giant thunderstorm, what happens is the water has somewhere to go. It all ends up channelling into that river, allowing that river to flow with even more force and power. And so as you're making your new year's resolutions this year, i want you to ask yourself, am i making a flash flood resolution, or am i building a river bed? The answer for most writers is not locking themselves in a room for a week end non stop to write.
