Data Modeling and Analytics Engineering

The modern data stack users has been almost an absence of modeling in some sense but I guess you can argue it's also a model which is a kind of a crappy one. For example at co-less, 80% of the room didn't know basic data modeling techniques and barely anyone did Kimball for example. The old school techniques of data modeling may not actually be known so that's very interesting as well.
