Influencer Marketing Is So Powerful

The idea of mimetic desire is one reason why influencer marketing is so powerful. People aren't just influencers, they're moditizing their influence. And i got to say, like, from a moral standpoint, it feels really awful. I don't think that it's a net good thing. But as time has gone on, i see the downside of financializing things once considered either sacred or at the very least private.
