The Differences Between the CNS and the Peripheral Nervous System
The main big difference between the central nervous system and a peripheral nerve, let's just say like a median nerve. This is commonly impacted in a condition such as carpal tunnel where you might have the nerve crushed with the tendons going down into your fingers. We know that the spinal cord probably has less a degree of regeneration, but not absence or lack of regeneration. But what we're doing in our lab and Dinesh as part of this is we are getting these cells from different parts of the body.
