The Importance of Stockpiling Food in a Food Crisis
I wonder whether or not there could be at least partial relief in situations like this if the world had a sufficient stockpile. There are important ways in which stockpiles of food and the ability to, I would say, pre-organize that stockpiling is really important. We have actually even scientific predictors now in terms of weather patterns that can tell us where there is going to be a hunger crisis in a year. But we don't always preemptively get in front of prices that we know are coming.
