How to Measure Your Heart Rate

Derek: Run slower and then run slower than you think. I'm out there doing like 12 to 13 minute miles. That's what you're measuring with is heart rate. So again, kind of going back to the real question, what would a single eight look like if they're doing 80% of their volume that week in terms of time at the RP three to four? Derek: You might do 30 seconds of tempo work followed by 30 seconds of very slow jogging. It makes it a little feels a little bit more athletic feels a little more fun.
