Jung's Trio for Strings
After writing the trio for strings, Jung moved to Germany to study with modernist composer Carl Heinz Stochhausen. He became interested in the work of John Cage, and started up a correspondence with Cage. On his return to New York, he studied with Cage,. Most of those compositions were performed as part of a loose New York art collective called Fluxus. They were influenced by Cage and the Dardists.
