Do You Have a Conflict of Interest in Your Contract?
A client wants to transition into doing online marketing services. He has a website, but hasn't made it live yet because he's afraid of losing his job. How do you deal with that kind of situation? One of the things that I always tell my clients is are there any clauses in their contract that say they can't have some sort of public facing side business? A lawyer had one where she couldn't, but her face isn't the face of that. And so, so I would just make sure that he checks with HR team or something like that, and just find out if there's any clauses around that in his contract or anything. If he doesn't, then that's awesome
