"Every movement of your muscle was to propel you forward," he says. "And, and that was one thing that bannister zeroed in on." He didn't have a deviated septum to lower his resting heart rate - which is a tell tale sign of either somebody with a heart condition or a an alete athlete. After three laps around the track, they would unleash the banister. That was the strategy.
