The Blue Jays Hire James Click

The Blue Jays have hired James Click as their vice president of baseball strategy. Click is a former race executive and more recently former Astros GM. He clashed with owner Jim Crane, who clearly did not want to bring him back. But I always wonder what it's like for a team to hire someone like this knowing that very shortly in all likelihood he'll be moving on.
