What Does War Have to Do With the Hobbyist?
The war effort created factories that, after the war had to turn their hands to other things. Lots of munitions factories were turned over to producing bicycles. This leisure boom also sends pleasure seekers out of the city to explore the countryside. The mystery tours would take hordes of excitable young londoners out from king'scross station ov a kind of s Saturday afternoon. Go and do your walk and then come back for the train at six o'clock.
