Nicohanna jones, the primary author of the 16 19 project, wrote an eight thousand word essay follow up in the new york times magazine. And it's called what we are owed. In this essay, she waxes eloquently and even says, there is nothing a black person can do. We've spent 22 trillion in the last 60 years, for 70 cents of it goes not to the poor, but those who serve te for so we've created a commodity out of poor people.
