Is There a Difference Between a Competitive and a Competent?

The author has an introverted sensiing. He says he doesn't have a competitive nature, but wants to be part of the group that wins. The idea is thought leadership. It's getting an idea out there and getting the team to succeed. Unlike me, who wants the project o to succeed personally, i'm trying to work on myself first.
