Fathers Play a Significant Role in Child Development
Fathers play a significant role in directing the boys attention to care about other people. When fathers rough housed with their sons, they learn how to use their strength to have fun, but not to cause harm. The context of play increases the likelihood that the boys are going to be thinking about how things impact and affect their father. That develops later on into an overall sense of ampathy, being others censured.
