The Role of Resistance Training in Resistance Training

Eric Stonestreet: This is a Wizard of Oz moment where we get behind the scenes and it's nothing but another man. The study was done almost seven years ago and because the recreationally active individuals were not people I tested, they were from a previous study. So they trained the RDL as part of the intervention and we compared the post data to the baseline strength of the part lifters. And I think that's a really important point, Pac, because it speaks to the idea that getting incredibly strong, like on the level of where you're a power lifter on a given lift, is probably more specific than we give it credit for.
