Why History Can Be a Valuable Tool When Studying Political Communication
There's a lot of focus on how new technology is changing where we are today, and less on how that connects to previous eras. I'm excited to have been able to explore and dive into some of that. And one of the reasons for why history can be a valuable tool when studying political media use was that the goals of political actors are relatively stable over time. It's just that the activities used to accomplish these goals can change with technology.
