The Rise and Fall of Tax Audit and Consulting in Silicon Valley

There's pressure on all of our businesses at the same time. The consulting market is discretionary spend for companies, and so when everyone decides to tighten their spending, they'll start to cut out discretionary projects. Fraud investigations are picking up. Some companies have the perspective that I want to come out of the downturns stronger. So I'm going to fix some of my problems now. Over here in Silicon Valley, there's a lot of cash on companies' balance sheets; valuations are coming down.
