Inspector General Michael Horowitz says the dossier played a central and essential role in the decision to seek a FISA order. So is it the fault of journalists when their sources mislead them? Well, it's a tricky question because we are only as good as our sources. But once those sources prove themselves to be deceptive, this is the key point. I think journalists have an obligation not only to correct the record, but to confront and maybe expose the source who steered them wrong.
