I think that there are natural hierarchies pretty much everywhere. As you move away from scarcity, it can be a less powerful force. But when you have artificial scarcity, people turn on each other really quickly. And i think society basically is a series of dominant schemes in some way or other. I'm always looking for new ways to think about why human beings do what we do.
